Online Poker Becoming More Popular In New Jersey

New Jersey is the third state within the USA to legalize online gambling. Since their full launch back on November 21st New Jersey has seen a huge amount of player account registrations. They now have more punters gambling then Nevada or Delaware combined. Recent Studies show that online poker is now becoming extremely popular in the state, allowing for certain online casinos to gain more profit.

PokerScout, the internet poker traffic monitor for New Jersey has reported that Borgata’s Party Poker Room has gained an increase of 640 players. Caesars Entertainment which is branded with 888 has only seen an increase of 350 players. None the less within the last month there has been an increase of 990 players for online poker.

Trump Casino made a partnership deal with Ultimate Poker. This new partnership hasn’t gained the results that Trump or Ultimate Poker would of liked to seen. As of right now the ultimate poker based poker room has only had a peak of 44 players.

The results released by PokerScout shows that New Jersey poker rooms are becoming more competitive, played and well known across the state. Offshore poker rooms are now in for some competition within New Jersey as the offshore poker rooms that are available in the state only have roughly 500-760 player gambling as of right now. While both numbers are encouraging for the state of New Jersey they still have a considerably long way to catch up to the online poker leaders PokerStars. They hold a peak amount of 40,281 players gambling.
