The Last of Us Lead Artist Leaves Naughty Dog

The artist behind the now fan favorite, “The Last of Us” announced today that he has departed from Naughty Dog in order to pursue better things for his career. Nate Wells, the lead artist worked hard on creating a raw but natural beauty for the world of “The Last of Us”.

The Last Of Us video game

The Last of Us is set in an apocalyptic world, more than a decade ago a virus spread throughout the world that brought a fungus to the brain. This fungus would kill you and deform your body. Shortly after the virus had spread throughout the world nature took over once again. This meant that Nate Wells had to create a world where our urban cities are taken over by nature. The end result was something beautiful that everyone marveled at while playing the game.

Nate Wells left Naughty Dog shortly after they completed the final touches on the re-mastered version for the Playstation 4. If there is a “Last of Us” sequel it will not involve Nate Wells, whoever has to fit in his shoes has to top off what he did by tenfold. The expectations for this series are now high, higher than Uncharted ever was.
As of right now you can play “The Last of Us” by purchasing the game from your local GameStop, EB Games or Electronics Store. You can also purchase the game through Amazon or the Playstation 4. The first moment you step inside the world of “The Last of Us” you will be immersed into the game and want more.
