Online gambling ban being considered by Pennsylvania politician

A Politician from Pennsylvania announced that he has plans to introduce a new bill that would completely outlaw online gambling in his state. This wouldn’t be the sharpest move he could make as his neighboring states, Delaware and New Jersey have legalized online gambling to its full potential.

The announcement came from the State Senator of Pennsylvania Mike Stack, he commented on the new bill saying that online gambling can become a risk for the state’s land based casino. As of right now land based casinos continue to provide the state with more than enough cash to keep the state’s economy running at a good level.

This new bill is more than likely going to be in the senators favor due to a large majority of the state’s population not approving of online gambling. The keystone state took a survey in order to see how their citizens feel about the future of gambling in their state. As of right now it looks like Pennsylvania won’t have legal online gambling any time in the future.

The bill didn’t come without research. Pennsylvania waited months before they made their decision if online gambling should be legal or not. Pennsylvania wanted to see the profits that could be made with online gambling, they saw the percentages and knew that they didn’t need to legalize online gambling in order to compete with nearby states. It is unsure if online gambling will continue to make more profit, if it does online gambling could one day become legal in Pennsylvania.
